So I’m starting to freak out a just little bit about feeding 30 (or more) of my closest friends tomorrow night (am I crazy?!). I think this year’s dinner party is going to bigger than last year’s. This photo is from last year but only about a third of the guests are pictured.

Using recipes from this book for a 1950s-themed dinner party tonight! Despite appearing to be a novelty book, the recipes are legit and there are lots of them! The majority of recipes are from the late 1950s, culled from popular cookbooks and restaurants. There’s even Pat Nixon’s date bread recipe, which she apparently shared with a newspaper.
